“Adherence:
The Three Keys to adhering to your action plan!”
The phrase, “Don’t just sit there, do something!” applies to the core
of what I am trying to convey. The Law of Attraction is only the foundation for the direction of your dreams, without
action your attraction is left to fate. Yes destiny is a divine source of inspiration, but perspiration combined
with inspiration equals success! Even a person that wins a $300 million dollar lottery must go out and buy
the ticket! Sometimes it only takes the smallest of actions to reap the largest of rewards, but action is a necessary
catalyst in this chemistry of Love!
I was posed with a question regarding my Laws of Love: adherence process. This is the reader’s comment regarding
that subject:
“Ryan, I want to tell you that I liked it a LOT. It's analytical, honest and profound.
I have a few pointers though. I absolutely agree with your interpretation of Inner action, appreciation and application...You
hit the nail on the head! I do wonder about adherence...I'm afraid that this sounds
way to methodological to follow a set of rules! It sounds like a diet, and I just don't want to think of love that way.
It's suppose to be chaotic, inconvenient, intense and UNCONTROLABLE.
Could
you make it a bit more exiting as it’s supposed to be? In another words maybe you could find a balance between
the three factors: PLANING, EXCITMENT AND FAITH?
I am humbly expressing my opinion,
and hope you'll take it with a grain of salt.
Nancy”
I appreciate you taking your
time to provide me with the most priceless form of critique, the readers! So I should take this as lightly
as a grain of salt? I dare say that anyone’s feelings should ever be taken lightly. I have spent some time thinking
about your suggestions, and how they relate to the overall message I am trying to get across to you, my readers.
I’ve covered much
of my Laws of Love in brief due to the limit of space offered to a magazine columnist. I do have a book in
the works that will cover all of these ideas, and principles in depth so that there is no misunderstanding.
The Adherence which I spoke
about in my Action process relates to everyone being accountable to themselves, and their own goals. It’s not to be
viewed as a diet, but as a guideline. The basic principle would fall back to an age old proverb of sowing and reaping.
Try to not look at it as a
set of rules to follow, but more like a cause vs. effect standard. For example, if you walk blindly across traffic you may
get run over, at least in theory. You are not adhering to anything you are not in agreement with, as per your own action plan,
or your Law of Attraction desires. You are merely telling yourself that you want a particular outcome, so these are definite
steps that will advance your cause to making this a reality.
I thought about it over a couple of weeks, and then it struck me. The key
was not to answer the actual question at hand, but to give the person asking it a way to find the answers for themselves.
So the hunt was on to put a lot of wisdom in a quick process. Short and sweet, but so effective you could find a dependable
answer without looking to outside sources. I came up with three Key questions you can ask yourself at any given time, to help
you decide if you are adhering to your action plan.
How many times have you made a dumb decision, and then in hindsight you see exactly what you
should have done? Adherence is about using your foresight to see the solution. There are three quick and powerful questions
you can ask yourself if you feel confused about an upcoming decision.
First ask yourself, “Does it help me?” Then ask yourself, “Does
it hurt me?” Finally ask yourself, “Does it hinder me?” These are three quick and easy questions that will
allow you to give yourself feedback for the choices you feel may be against your action plan. If it can help you then full
steam ahead! However, if it can hurt you or hinder you I would seriously rethink the decision you are about to make. Many
of us are aware of the power associated with the “Law of Attraction”, so this will help you stay on track. These
three simple questions can save you from making a bad choice in the near future. I’ve started doing this in my own life,
and I’m surprised at the results!
I hope that is clears the air about my third and final process in the Action phase of the
Laws of Love. Remember love yourself first and foremost, but to get love you must give love. Many of you may be wondering
what you do when finally get what you want, well that will have to wait until next time when we go over the Satisfaction
segment of the Love Laws! Until then may life, love, and happiness surround you and your decisions.
